About Us

Titan Geo Space Systems Ltd (TGSSL) was incorporated in the year 2021 with an objective to support ISRO and space stations word wide. TGSSL is headed by K. Giri Kumar as Chairman and assisted board of directors in TGSSL. The overseas team includes Mr. Sergey Voith, Mr. Volodymyr Usov and Mr. Volodymyr Taftay who are the key people and knowledge partners.

TGSSL in collaboration with Ukrainian Space Agency, Yuzumash Space Plant and Kurs Orbital will establish facilities to manufacture and service Satellite Launch Vehicles and Satellite launch services.

Upstream & Downstream are two key components in Space domain as supply chain. Design, Development and Manufacturing of satellites, launch vehicles and launch services are part of the Upstream industry. TGSL will create R&D arm as per spacecom directive. Satellite operations, satellite services and the end-user industry are part of Downstream industry.

In addition to this we can provide service like Satellite Relocation, De-Orbiting, Space Debris Removal and Remote and Close Inspection.

Service facilities include:

Ground Control Complex, Spacecraft Modular Platform, Acquisition Module, Propulsion System, Communication System, Power Supply System, Thermal Control System.

Phase 1: Service preparation mode. Turning Servicer in satellite direction mode (30 Km)
Phase 2: Search of Client Satellite. Search mode lines of sight to the satellite. (100 M)
Phase 3: Approaching. Approaching along the line of sight with measurement of distance and velocity. (100 M)
Phase 4: FLYBY. Flyby around the satellite with the purpose of interface acquisition. (100 M).
Phase 5: Hovering 1. Zeroing the roll angle. (100 to 20 M)
Stage 1: Docking mode 1. Servicer rendezvous with the client satellite within the docking cone. (100 M to 20M)
Phase 6: Hovering 2. Receiving information from machine vision system. (20M to 2M)
Stage 2: Docking Mode 2. Moving of the service along with the client satellite. (20 M to 2M)
Phase 7: Hovering 3. Capture Point. (2 M to 0 M)
Stage 3: Docking with Satellite.
Stage 4: Servicing Satellite.
Stage 5: Undocking with Satellite and satellite servicing

TGSSL is building infrastructure that makes it possible for truly scalable industry to thrive in space. Our on-orbit servicing platform makes up the base layer supporting new business avenues in the future which will help satellite operators to clear key orbits of debris and to receive $ 100K of additional revenues per day, by extending their satellites commercial lifetime and performance.

Manufacturing cost of SLV is close to USD 20 Million, and the satellite once launched is expected to be in the orbit with life span of 15 years without any service support as the components manufactured are tested at multiple levels to ensure delivery of the payload and the endurance to the orbit. The final assembly of the launch vehicle is carried out at the launch platform.

The global market size is expected to be USD 16 Billion in the current year 2022 and expected to rise up to USD 24 Billion in the year 2025 with an average growth of USD 3 Billion every year with available projections.

As per the spacecom policy 2020 announced by DoS, entry for private sector is allowed to enable technologies in the space domain for both domestic and global markets. TGSL will endeavour to re- orient space activities from supply driven model to demand driven model.

The key applications of the satellites are communication, navigation and earth observation. Space will define the future of the national security, defence forces around the world are already developing specific entities focused on the space domain.

Considering the above factors, TGSSL will create a captive space infra structure in Tamil Nadu in land spread over 3000 acres in association with IN-SPACe and New Space India Ltd partnering with United States and Ukrainian technologies to develop, R&D and engineering facilities along with Satellite Control Centre and Telemetry Tracking and Command.
